Head of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Menfi, has welcomed the UN Security Council resolution, describing it as "an important roadmap and a turning point in Libya's history", stressing the Council's commitment to implementing the resolution.
Menfi stressed the need to respect the concluded agreements, address unilateral decisions, and establish financial arrangements to reach a unified budget that guarantees the independence and neutrality of the Central Bank and its technical role, noting that this constitutes a top priority.
Menfi stressed that the real way to achieve elections is by linking the election laws to the 6+6 Committee as a basis, through a popular referendum to end the political stalemate.
