The Minister of Education of Government of National Unity, Musa Al-Maqrif, allowed municipal education offices, at their own discretion, to stop studies to protect students, teachers, and workers in the education sector, due to weather fluctuations in Libya.
The Ministry of Education explained in a statement that, based on weather forecasts for this week, which include changes in weather conditions and heavy rainfall along the Libyan coast, the minister granted municipal education offices, at their own discretion, the authority to stop studies to protect students, teachers and workers in the education sector.
