The Acting Minister of Interior, Imad Trabelsi, has issued his instructions to continue the work of emergency rooms in coordination with mayors of municipalities, security, service and health agencies, and to raise the level of maximum preparedness during the coming days.
The Media office of the Ministry of Interior stated that these directives came in anticipation of the expected weather conditions, which may be accompanied by large amounts of rain and strong winds, and the resulting repercussions that endanger the lives of citizens.
For his part, the Minister of Local Government and Head of the Government Emergency and Rapid Response Team, Badr El-Din Al-Toumi, directed the team members to take all necessary measures and harness all capabilities to avoid any damage that may result from possible fluctuations in weather conditions announced by the National Center of Meteorology starting Friday until next Monday.
