The Minister of Interior of the Government of National Unity, Emad Al-Trabelsi, has discussed with the head of the Civil Status Authority, Tariq al-Thani, the latest developments in the National Database Project.
Both sides discussed ways to launch the project in all branches of the civil registry at the national level and overcoming the difficulties facing it due to its importance, the ministry said on its Facebook page.
The Public Prosecutor, Al-Siddiq Al-Sour, had recently announced the discovery of thousands of forged national numbers, and talked about thousands of registered papers suspected of being forged by the Public Prosecution, confirming that large number of forged national numbers were deleted.
