The Minister of Transport in the Government of National Unity, Mohammed Al-Shahoubi, has discussed with the Italian Ambassador to Libya, Gianluca Alberini, cooperation between the two countries, especially in the field of air and sea transport, the return of Italian companies to work in Libya, and the project of Tripoli International Airport.
The meeting, which was held on Sunday, in the capital, Tripoli, also discussed the cooperation agreement between the Civil Aviation Authority of the two countries and the efforts made to completely lift the air embargo on Libyan airspace.
According to the Ministry of Transport, the two sides agreed to continue developing cooperation in the transport sector and work to overcome difficulties and challenges to enhance relations between the two countries.
