The Ministry of Interior called on citizens to register any rental houses that they own with the competent authorities, as well as registering the foreigners occupying the place at the nearest police station to the property.
The ministry also addressed in a statement via Facebook, all foreign workers on Libyan territory, to settle their legal status, stressing the importance of this procedure for national security.
It also called on the competent authorities to implement the detect and follow up program for the foreigners on Libyan territory who lack legal procedures, in accordance with the law and regulations in force in the country.
