The security forces of the Ministry of Interior have arrested Abdul-Rahman Milad, nicknamed Bidja, based on the orders of the Office of the Public Prosecutor.
The Ministry said in a statement that the arrestee is accused, along with several others, of involvement in human trafficking and fuel smuggling.
Bidja’s name has been mentioned in the sanctions list issued by the United Nations Security Council since June 2018 on charges of human trafficking.
