A well-informed source told The Libya Observer that the Ministry of Interior, in cooperation with the Volcano of Rage Operation command, is due to launch a large-scale military operation, targeting armed gangs, smugglers, drugs and human traffickers amongst others.
The source said that ‘Operation Snake Hunt’ has received international support, naming Turkey as the main source amongst other countries supporting it.
Interior Minister Bashagha said in a press statement that the new operation would begin as soon as all preparations are complete.
