The Ministry of Interior and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) have signed a joint action plan to strengthen child protection and juvenile justice systems in Libya according to international standards.
According to UNICEF, it will provide technical support to implement the plan to achieve its common goals, and enhance the quality and coordination of protective services for children in contact with the law by supporting the Child and Family Protection Department of the Ministry of Interior.
