The Man-made River Authority (MMRA) has announced that the decrease in the water supply to the cities of the eastern and central tracks and the cities of the mountain, was due to the power outage on the Eastern Field (EJH) of the Al-Hasawna system in the Jafara Plain by the General Electricity Company.
The MMRA said that the control and operation rooms of the eastern and southern fields started their work after the electricity was stabilized.
The director of the production department in the MMRA confirmed that the water supply to the city of Tripoli and its suburbs returned to its normal level on Wednesday evening.
