Russia's Ambassador to Libya, Aidar Aghanin, has affirmed his country's support for the Presidential Council's decision to form a financial committee in order to regulate public spending and enhance transparency with the participation of all Libyan parties.
The ambassador made his remarks Wednesday during a meeting with the PC head Muhammed Menfi in Tripoli.
The PC media office said that Aghanin emphasized the need for all proposed solutions to be exclusively Libyan ownership.
He also renewed an invitation to Menfi to participate in the Russia-Africa summit scheduled for later this month.
