The Head of Murzuk General Hospital, Mohammed Wamer, said that the hospital is suffering from a shortage of medical staff and a lack of materials.

Wamer explained that the hospital has been receiving patients continuously since the start of the clashes in Sabha, whose injuries vary between mild to critical, noting that some lost their lives because of the lack of facilities and specialized doctors.

He added that since the beginning of March, the hospital has received 6 dead bodies, including two children and one woman, while the wounded reached 24.

Murzuk General Hospital receives patients from the Tabu tribe and some Sabha residents who are injured and cannot reach Sabha Medical Center, some130 kilometers away from Murzuk.
