Members of the Protection Force of the Capital conducted an inspection visit to Mitiga Airport to assess security preparations at the airport.
The Ministry of the Interior said that the Force tasked with securing the airport has assumed its duties pursuant to the Minister of Interior Abdul Salam Ashour's decision and within the security arrangements set by the Ministry of the Interior.
It is noteworthy that the Protection Force is an affiliate to the General Directorate of the Central Security at the Ministry of Interior and has been entrusted with the task of securing Mitiga Airport.
