The Sudanese Ambassador to Libya, Ibrahim Mohamed Ahmed, briefed on Tuesday the Head of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Menfi, on the war and efforts to establish peace in his country.

The Sudanese ambassador also briefed Menfi on the diplomatic efforts made by regional and international mediators to restore peace and stability to Sudan, according to the PC Media Office.

The Sudanese ambassador praised Menfi's speech during the recent Arab summit held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in which he welcomed the convening of the Jeddah talks between the Sudanese parties in order to establish peace in Sudan, and also declared Libya's readiness to participate and support such efforts.
