The Deputy UN envoy to Libya and Humanitarian Coordinator, Maria Ribeiro, hosted on Wednesday representatives of Derna at the High Council of State to talk about situations in the city.

The two HCS members, Mansour Hasadi and Musa Faraj discussed with Maria Ribeiro the humanitarian situation in the city.

The United Nations Support Mission in Libya stated that the two members of HCS complained of shortages in fuel, water, electricity and medicines.

Ribeiro said she would continue to work for the protection of civilians and access to basic humanitarian rights, according to the UNSMIL.
