Dignity Operation and its Egyptian ally conducted up to 10 airstrikes in Al-Jufra region in central Libya Thursday night targeting local forces affiliated with Al-Bonyan Al-Marsoos Operation in Hun and Sawkna towns.
The airstrikes hit a military camp, a police station, the Passport Authority building and a farm, local media reported.
Spokesperson of Dignity Operation Ahmed Al-Mismari claimed that their air force had targeted camps for “terrorist groups.”
Following the airstrikes, ground forces of Dignity Operation attempted to enter Al-Jufra, but local brigades and Benghazi Defense Brigades (BDB) stationed in the region repelled them.
Bushra News Agency, the media wing of BDB, claimed that Egyptian forces had arrived in Mabruk Oil Field, some 150km south of Sirte.
Last week Dignity Operation fighter aircraft targeted Al-Wahat Hotel in Hun town, leaving around five people dead.
