The head of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Menfi, has discussed with the Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, the revitalization and activation of the tripartite meeting to advance the political process in Libya.
This came during their meeting on Tuesday, at the headquarters of the Permanent Libyan Mission to the United Nations in New York City.
The meeting focused on developments in the political and economic situation in Libya, in addition to reviving and activating the tripartite meeting, moving forward with the political process, and unifying positions to support the Palestinian cause.
The tripartite meeting included, Menfi, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aguila Saleh, and head of the High Council of State, Mohammed Tekala, and was held once at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States in Cairo on March 10, in the presence of Aboul Gheit.
