The Head of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Menfi, accepted the credentials of eight ambassadors to Libya on Saturday. The newly accredited ambassadors represent Palestine, Germany, Sweden, Sierra Leone, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Rwanda, Burundi, and Slovakia.
Menfi accepted the credentials of Palestinian Ambassador Mohammad Rahal, German Ambassador Ralph Tarraf, and Slovakia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Libya, Lenka Mihalkova.
Additionally, he received the credentials of Cecilia Wramsten, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden, Sadiq Sillah, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Sierra Leone, and Senad Mašović, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Menfi also accredited Dan Munyuza, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Rwanda, and Omar Ntezimbere, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Burundi.
During his meetings with the newly appointed ambassadors, Menfi emphasized the deep ties between Libya and their respective countries, wishing them success in their new roles.
The ambassadors, in turn, highlighted the importance of strengthening relations with Libya, commending Menfi’s efforts in achieving peace, stability, and development across the country, according to a statement by the Presidential Council.
