Libya's national soccer team started off its 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifiers' first match by beating Seychelles 5-1 on Friday in Cairo, Egypt.

Libya's Salto opened the score with the first goal at the minute 23, then scored a second goal at the 27th minute from a penalty by Ahmed Ben Ali.

The first half of the match ended with a third goal for Libya by Hamdo Al-Masri at the last minute.

In the second half, Libya's Mohammed Zabiya scored the fourth goal at the minute 66, while Moayed Al-Lafi scored the fifth goal at the minute 84.

Seychelles scored its only goal at the minute 90 to end the game 5-1 for Libya.

By winning the first match, Libya has topped the fifth group with three points awaiting the score of South Africa vs Nigeria match.
