The Department of Traffic and Licensing Affairs has announced that it recorded 747 traffic accidents during the month of December 2024, resulting in 171 deaths, 309 serious injuries, 246 minor injuries, and also damaged 1,163 vehicles, with the resulting damage estimated at 7,326,050 Libyan dinars.
The Ministry of Interior stressed the importance of enhancing traffic awareness and intensifying efforts to ensure the safety of everyone on the roads, calling on citizens to adhere to traffic laws to preserve lives and property.
