A group of 203 Chadian nationals who have entered Libya illegally have been deported to their country by land, the Anti-Illegal Immigration Agency in Kufra said on Sunday.

Migrants from centres in Tripoli and Benghazi were assembled in Kufra city southeast of Libya before they were deported to Chad through the crossing border with Libya.

The Anti-Illegal Immigration Agency said the deportation process was conducted in cooperation with the Chadian Embassy, noting that some of the migrants were arrested in a security operation in Benghazi, and others were deported upon a court's ruling.
