Kufra Municipality spokesman Abdullah Suleiman has confirmed that the municipality did not discuss with the joint UN mission during its recent visit to the municipality, establishing camps for Sudanese refugees in the region.
Suleiman added in a statement that the camps option is rejected by all Libyans, hoping that the UN help in providing assistance to Sudanese refugees inside and outside the city to confront this crisis.
He also called for assistance to the authorities and service institutions in the city, especially in the water, electricity, health and education sectors.
