Minister of Transport Mohamed al-Shahoubi discussed the potential reopening of an air route between Libya and Morocco and the return of Royal Air Maroc flights to Libyan airports during a meeting in Rabat on Tuesday.
The meeting included discussions with Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs and African Cooperation, Nasser Bourita, and Moroccan Minister of Transport, Mohamed Abdeljalil.
In a Facebook statement, Libya's Ministry of Transport indicated that the parties also discussed the opening of a maritime line between Libya and Morocco, as well as measures to facilitate visa entry for citizens of both countries within the framework of activating joint committees between the two nations.
