Minister of Labour and Rehabilitation Ali Al-Abed has received the Italian Ambassador to Libya, Gianluca Alberini, to discuss cooperation in the field of employment and training.
A statement by the ministry said that Al-abed expressed a desire to facilitate the return of Italian companies and provide a suitable work environment.
He noted the significance of sharing experiences in the field of training and vocational qualification and benefiting from the Italian experience in the field of entrepreneurship.
The two sides debated a training program for Libyan employees at the International Training Institute of the International Labor Organization (ITC-ILO) in Italy.
For his part, the Italian diplomat said on his X platform Wednesday that the discussion focused on cooperation initiatives in the field of work and professional training.
